Haul in to one of the
largest and most action-packed truck events in the world.
The Carlisle Truck Nationals is a must-attend event
and has been epicenter for all things truck since 1991.
Check out the lowered mini trucks, lifted 4x4s, chromed
out big rigs and the perfectly restored classics at
the event that celebrates the truck hobby. Annually
more than 2,000 trucks are part of the judged Showfield
but more than judged excellence, there is something
for the entire family to enjoy. Kids and adults alike
can enjoy monster truck shows plus climb in for a monster
truck ride around the grounds. The family fun continues
with the Kids at Carlisle Activity Center, shopping,
parts buying at the Manufacturers Midway and much more.
In addition to the family fun there will be a tailgate
competition with prizes awarded, celebrity guests including
Brian Fisher, Kevin Tetz and Susan Parker.
The pulse-pounding fun
continues with a high/low contest, wheelie rides and
burnout competitions – there’s more than you can imagine.

showfield registration is available for the 2012
event. If you'd prefer, registration is also available
by calling our office at (717) 243-7855. Please note:
refunds will not be issued less than 19 days prior to
the beginning of the event and winners' lists are subject
to change. As in 2011, the judged showfield
will park according to truck class and the judges will
come to you.
Judging is on Saturday
only from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and is exclusive to
participants who register for the judged competition.
Please be parked in your designated class, have your
judging card available and your truck prepared for judging
by the 10:00 a.m. Saturday deadline. Judging cards can
be picked up at the Goody Bag garage upon arrival.

How to Save Time and Money: Details Below
Pre-register before July 2, 2012 to get your window sticker early and drive right in when you get to the gate!
When you pre-register, you save time AND you save money. Everyone could use a little more of both and Carlisle Events wants to help!
Beat the July 2, 2012 deadline and we will mail your window sticker to your address of record via USPS. The sticker will go out weeks in advance of the event. When you get to the show, enjoy the VIP treatment of driving straight to Gate 3. No matter how long the lines of people are at the showfield registration area, you won’t need to stop there. Rather, once you drive through the main gate, you will be guided straight to the designated parking area.
Pre-registering also helps keep that wallet a little fatter. When you pre-register, you save $10. That’s more of your hard-earned money back in your wallet.

Truck Nationals Showfield – Register Today
The Carlisle Truck Nationals showfield is at the center of the truck action and is host to one of the largest pure truck show-n-shine events in the country. Whether you are climbing to the sky in a monster lifted 4x4, scraping the ground in a fully customized mini or turning back the hands of time in a perfectly restored classic, you’ll see them all in Carlisle, on both the judged and non-judged showfields. Compete on the judged showfield to put your truck up against some the best in the world. Our judges, from all aspects of the truck industry, will determine where your truck stands, using a standard scoring system. New for 2011: The judged showfield will park according to truck class and the judges will come to you. Judging is on Saturday only from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm for participants who registered for the judged competition. Please be parked in your designated class, have your judging card available and your truck prepared for judging by 10:00 am on Saturday. Judging cards can be picked up at the Goody Bag garage upon arrival. If you’re still working on your project or just want to show your truck for fun, enter it on the non-judged showfield. 2012 Truck Nationals Invitational Display now Accepting Applications
Get Invited, Showcase your Ride
If you think you or your company have an extra special truck to share with enthusiasts at the Carlisle Truck Nationals, we want to hear about it. You could be part of our invitational display. The Invitational display(s) feature vehicles ranging from classic restorations to full-blown customs. If you would like to have your vehicle considered for a Carlisle invitational display please submit your vehicle for consideration!
Vehicles selected to appear in the Invitational will receive free admission, on-grounds parking, a goody bag and recognition plaque. Your vehicle will be displayed indoors to the general public for three full days.

Monster truck fun is coming back to the Carlisle Truck Nationals for 2012! Get up close with a VIP Monster Pack or sit back, relax and enjoy the energy. You'll see car crushing fun from at least two different trucks, plus show goers of all ages will be able to climb up into the bed of a Monster Truck and go for a ride as part of the ONLY ride truck that actually takes you over cars!

All Roads Lead to Carlisle, one of the biggest trucking hubs in the country and home of the Carlisle TRUCK NATIONALS BIG RIG SHOW AND SHINE. Rigs, show trucks, tow trucks, haulers and more were on hand at the Carlisle Big Rig Show and Shine. If Rigs and Heavy Duty working trucks are your thing, check out the awesome pictures from this years event at Carlisle.

Country Kids Jamboree Coming to Truck Nationals
Watch the Puppen Meister Perform and Entertain
Bring your kids to the Truck Nationals for great family entertainment. Not only are there thousands of trucks on site of varying shapes and sizes, Kids at Carlisle offers an outlet to play, color and let a kid be a kid.
Now, along with the fun of Kids at Carlisle, the Country Kids Jamboree will be on site for a puppet/marionette show plus games guaranteed to delight both kids and parents alike.
The Puppen Meister will be on site as part of the event. Expect games like a duck pond, shooting gallery, shuffle alley, ring toss, tic-tac-toe and more. A nominal fee may apply for most games with prizes available to all participants. More details will be available soon!

The Light-Truck Accessory Alliance at Carlisle
The LTAA, or Light-Truck Accessory Alliance filled the New Products tent to the seams as part of the second LTAA New Products Showcase at the Carlisle Truck Nationals.
The New Products Showcase gave LTAA-member companies the opportunity to display their latest products in front of one of the largest gatherings of light-truck enthusiasts in the country.
More than 60 products from 35 LTAA-member companies were on display at the 2011 LTAA New Products Showcase in Carlisle.

Kevin Tetz - Automotive How to Specialist & TV Personality
Live Seminars and Meet and Greet for 2011 Truck Nationals
Kevin Neils Tetz from Trucks TV, automotive journalist, restoration shop owner and auto body industry expert hosted live seminars as well as conducted meet and greet appearances at the 2011 Carlisle Truck Nationals.
Kevin grew up elbows deep in muscle cars, trucks and rock-n-roll music. He's a recording artist and is ASE, ICAR, PPG, & SIKKENS certified as a collision repair tech. Kevin is also involved with the PAINTUCATION Instructional DVD series, writes for automotive magazines such as Southern & Northern Rodder, Mustang & Fords and is the host of several automotive how-to TV shows. Kevin brought this and more to Carlisle in 2011.

The Truck Nationals is fun for the entire family and we have not forgotten the kids. In the Kids at Carlisle Activity Center Area, we have crafts for kids and parents to enjoy together. We also have lots of play activities that we think will “wow” the young ones. Come and check it out!

ATTENTION TRUCK CLUBS
Join the Club at Carlisle
Are you a member of a local, regional national or web based club? The Carlisle Truck Nationals want you if so. Annually, truck clubs enjoy a fun weekend at Carlisle, some even use the event as the host to their national meets.
Be a part of the Club Tent Program and your group could earn the right to use a 20x20 tent for free. You'll need at least 25 registered trucks to be considered for the complimentary tent. These tents make a great location for the club headquarters and the ideal place to hang out and socialize. Larger clubs are eligible for larger tents. Plus, the three largest clubs will be recognized at the awards ceremony on Sunday. For more information, call (717) 243-7855.

WHO HAS THE COOLEST CLUB HANGOUT?
Finally, a Contest Where Everyone Wins
Clubs that receive a Carlisle Events’ supplied tent are encouraged to participate in the Coolest Club Hangout competition. There are no official rules and the process is simple: just decorate your tent in a manner that would make the Carlisle staff want to hangout with your club for the weekend. Colorful displays, cool banners and people having lots of fun always attract our attention. The prize pack is provided by Midway Bowling and Skating Center and Cumberland Drive-in. Not So Pretty but Strong on the Trail?
So you’re not the show and shine type, but have a Truck, Jeep or SUV’s built for the outdoors? Our friends from Rausch Creek are going to help us out this year by sponsoring and judging a trail class?
If your rig is built strictly for the outdoors and off road, the trail class is for you. Judging criteria will be based on function, fit and fabrication to conquer the trail! If this sounds like your off road vehicle, select the trail class as you register your vehicle for the Truck Nationals.

Saturday night the Mini Trucks took over by lighting up the Carlisle night skies with white sparks from their titanium blocks. If you like’em low and laid out, this was the spot to be on for Saturday night frame dragging.

HOT RODDERS OF TOMORROW HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAM
Spring Carlisle to Host 2012 Northeast Competition
The Hot Rodders of Tomorrow is a high school level engine build competition. Students compete for time and accuracy as they tear down an engine and rebuild it. Schools in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions are eligible to compete in the regional battle. Finals for each regional winner are held during the 2012 SEMA show in Las Vegas. This is a great program with a lot of automotive industry support.
Over 1 million dollars in scholarship money was made available in 2011, including money simply for participating. Don't miss out. Registration is NOW open and spots ARE available. Get your school registered early. Visit hotroddersoftomorrow.com for more information.
At the 2011 SEMA Finals, the University of Northwest Ohio, the School of Automotive Machinists and the Ohio Technical College teamed up to offer nearly $1,000,000 in scholarship money, with $10,000 going to each student on the first place team.
